WHAT IS NINJA-DO?

Ninja-Do, as the name suggests, this form of art requires the utmost discipline of inner self before practising the art. Some of the most important aspects in Ninja-Do are respect and courtesy. As any martial art techniques taught are extremely forceful and might prove dangerous if the trainee has no self-discipline.

Ninja-Do also means the way of the ninja. Technically, it is not ninjutsu, but the sprit and training is modeled after the ninja. The weapons used in Ninja-Do are derived from ninjutsu. In this section we clear the doubts about what is ninjado and discuss about the history and modern ninjado.

Initially, the learning of fighting techniques is simple: the development of physical skills. As they are refined to a very high degree, their relevance and application become more important. There is a shift in training from knowledge of skills to an understanding of their purpose and development. Though the physical aspect of training is still important, there is more of an emphasis on the individual and his philosophical outlook and self-evaluation as to his involvement in the whole structure of his particular style.

The tough training are geared to every individual, so the individual progress is faster, finding personal self-defense practical for today's threats and builds around one's own strengths and weaknesses. Therefore every student will develop his or her unorthodox unique style of combat when they reach a certain level of accomplishment

Sifu Ma Tai Eng founded Ninja-Do in the 1970s. His successor is now Grandmaster Carter Wong, a popular martial artist during the 1960s and 1970s.
